Located on Lower Buckhorn Lake just below lock 31 on the beautiful Trent-Severn Waterway, the Blue Heron Resort is a cosy little place consisting of well kept cottages, each with its own view of the lake and the Village of Buckhorn.

The resort has a 200 ft safe sandy beach, a diving dock, and also a slide for the children. Boats, motors and gas are available at the resort.
Numerous stores, restaurants and services are conveniently located in Buckhorn and the immediate vicinity. Fishing is as good as anywhere in the Kawartha lakes.

The best times for fishing are Spring and Fall
Water skiing, swimming and boating are excellent.
